Vocal Music

About Myself:
I am very excited to be starting another year as the Music Teacher for the Orinda Union School District. I have experience teaching Choir, Dance, Drama, and Musical Theater. I hold a BFA in Musical Theater from Brigham Young University. I am a trained dancer and actress as well as a Singer. My first love is Musical Theater, but I have a great passion for classical music and jazz music as well. I look forward to sharing a wide variety of repertoire with the Sleepy Hollow students.
 
I am also actively involved in performing with various Theater Companies in the Bay Area, such as Woodminster, Diablo Theater Company, Alameda Civic Light Opera and Tri-Valley Repertory Theater. I am the Director for the Musical Teens Program at Contra Costa Civic Theater in El Cerrito and Musical Director for Piedmont High School's Musical program. 

Choir Objective:
My main focus will be on classroom activities. I want students to learn wide variety of Music and Movement. Music Classes should be a fun outlet for the students, a break from the academic world.
